Tasmania Performs production Alzheimer Symphony, which opens at Hobart Theatre Royal on Thursday,picked up six in the Professional category, including Best Production and Best Original Work.

The Hobart Repertory Theatre Society show Journey End ruled the Best Community Theatre section, winning Best Production, Ensemble Cast, Performance by a Male (Jeff Keogh), Direction (Robert Jarman) and Design (William Dowd).

Most of the Community Musical Theatre awards are on their way to the North West Coast, with the Ulverstone Repertory Theatre Society show The Great American Trailer Park Musical taking home the Errols for Best Production, Direction (Sid Sidebottom), Ensemble Cast (Bronwyn Darvell, Annette Dawes and Elizabeth Viney) and Performance by a Female (Katy Pakinga).

Launceston was also well represented, with Stompin My Heart Is A wholesale nhl jerseys Hall winning three awards and Encore Theatre Company Belinda J. King and Jamie Hilliard jointly named Impresario of the Year.
